Taking over for the deceased (in french only)

Responsibility : Le Curateur public du Québec

If the deceased was the tutor or curator of a person who had lost or was losing his or her autonomy, and no provision was made to replace the deceased, a person must be appointed to take over for the deceased.

As the liquidator of the succession, you must notify the Curateur public du Québec of the death of the tutor or curator and see that the deceased is replaced. In the meantime, you must defend the person's interests until a replacement is named by the Court.
