If, further to a death, you are named tutor to a child under the age of 18, you have 30 days, as of the moment you take cognizance of the notice, to inform the Curateur public du Québec of your decision to accept or refuse this responsibility. If you do not reply within 30 days, it is presumed that you agree to be tutor.
