If your spouse or dependants die as a result of a road accident, you are entitled to the death benefits provided for in the Automobile Insurance Act. If the victim has no spouse or dependants, the father and mother or the succession are entitled to the death benefits. An amount is also provided for funeral expenses.
The deadline for applying for the death benefit is three years after the date of the death.
