If you have expressed your wishes regarding your funeral, either in your will or verbally to your next of kin, they must be followed on your death. Your wishes regarding burial, cremation, incineration and disposal of your ashes must be complied with. If you have not expressed any wishes, the succession must make the decisions.
For disposal of your remains, your next of kin must contact the representatives of a funeral home (including co-operative funeral homes), a crematorium or a cemetery.
